Just a note ,the spell checker is not working withinthe reflector, it
brings up the error message =

Spell checking now restored,

In reply to G4OWG:

Jon on clicking a summit reference within a spot I am getting

Fatal error: Call to undefined function mssql_connect() in
/home/sota/swbeta/beta/classes/summit.class.php on line 236

I think this was just while I was furtling with the system to get the spell checking working (I broke a configuration file briefly).

I can’t replicate this now.

Can you confirm?

In reply to GM4ZFZ:
Only seems to be a problem with the HB summit here… mouse-over give details OK but not on clicking the link.

73 Marc G0AZS

In reply to G4OIG:

Same here. The current HB9 entry just gives: Error: summit not
recognised

I think that is because it genuinely doesn’t recognise the summit. The others seem ok now.

In reply to GM4ZFZ:

Yes, all back to normal except for the rogue HB summit. Many thanks Jon,

Thanks Jon as posted above just HB error now.

Yes… but does your mouse-over in the spots list give you info ok for the HB summit? Mine seems to…

…Marc G0AZS

This is weird… mouse-over the HB summit in the spots list and the summit details appear… mouse-over the same HB summit in the alerts list and it says not recognised??

hmmm…

In reply to G0AZS:
And if you list the HB/ZH summits there are only 14

Roger G4OWG

In reply to G0AZS:

It shows as only 14 HB/ZH summits in database Marc, but I just wrkd Fritz and the database accepted my entry ok. It shows ok on summit info page though.

In reply to GW0DSP:
Hmm… when I look at the HB/ZH database I get all 15??

Hence my mouse-over in the spots window gives me some info

Stranger still, If you hover over the latest spot it gives the summit,
but if you hover over the previous one for the same summit - it doesn’t!!

In reply to GW0DSP:
HB/ZH-015 added from 01/12/2007 according to ARM

Roger G4OWG

In reply to GW0DSP:

OK, the reason for this is that the database has this summit but SW2 doesn’t as yet. I suspect HB9RE actually spotted using SW1 which connects directly to the database.

Thus the confusion. Should sort itself when I do a summit update. I also plan to rework SW2 so it talks directly to the main summits database. I did it otherwise for performance purposes but I should be able to work around this.

I edited the latter one to check what was going on and in doing so (since I edited on SW2) it lost the summit.

In reply to GM4ZFZ:

I thought that may be the case Jon, thanks for the info. Some ops are still using the old system and it causes confusion.

The new server is superb, much faster.
