Hi Viki, thankyou for your words of congratualations,
I remember working you on your last venture to Scotland. On that occasion I was on a monroe in Glen Dochart and I think you were in North Angus. We managed a 2m and 70cm contact.
In answer to your Question,I remember being unable to activate Steeles Knowe in the Ochils,a one pointer, that has been the only occasion.I am lucky to have a great band of Chasers and my activations are usually on a Sunday, which tends to be a popular day.
SOTA has taken me all over Central Scotland with some challenging but enjoyable summits.
I like yourself use 5W max power and a half wave dipole, though slowly but surely using HF.
I look forward to your next venture up to GM land.
Until then enjoy your activations
Jim MM0GLM
