My name is Jesse, and I was licensed in November 2020 and bought My first HF rig in Dec 2020, in January I met Malen VE6VID and after talking to him he got me out to do my first Sota activation and I was instantly hooked.

Fast forward to present day and I have a YouTube Channel dedicated to my activations, I taught myself CW in 3.5 months and finally got on the air Sept 17 2021 when I chased Keith KR7RK and did my First CW activation Oct 3 2021 and I haven’t looked back since.

To say I’m hooked is a understatement ! I have a couple goals set for myself one is to be the first VE6 CW Goat second is to become goat by 2026 (I work full crazy hours in the summer and work away from home for long periods of time in the winter) I have a very small window for activating so that’s a hefty goal for myself. and to be proficient in CW within a year.
