This wheat field is a testing ground for researching eurythmy on the growth of plants. … The aim is to investigate whether eurythmy can give wheat new properties that make it suitable as a remedy for rheumatic diseases…
The field is near DM/BW-055… The community of Schopfheim is full of radiation opponents. Please take an aluminum hat with you… for visitors…
Okay - I have one to add. I live in Columbus, Ohio, but also part of a smaller unincorporated town known as Clintonville. Years ago, a blank ‘caution’ sign was installed on a residential road for no known reason. After some time it became obvious that due to some governmental quirk, that sign was going to be blank in perpetuity. So a local resident added a photo of a Kangaroo, and it became a ‘Caution, Kangaroo Crossing’ sign. It was up for years until the city took it down due to ‘safety concerns.’ Then came the community rallying back around the sign, petitions were signed, money raised, and it got put back up.
In many European countries, a similar “blank” yellow lozenge sign denotes that traffic on that road has priority over traffic entering from side roads. Those seeking to enter the first road must make way for traffic on that road. But the kangaroo is nice…
Yes its genuine and it is pronounced “Dick”. Its no surprise I’ve not seen it for sale in the UK.
Its Spanish. My stepdaughter in Spain brings me the odd bottle over. Its good for a laugh, especially if you ask a guest’ , “Would you like a bit of Dyc?”.
I thought Coniston wasn’t that bad to drive through
This was on my mountain bike, a little outside Seathwaite on a loop from Coniston via Stephenson Ground and about to head back to Coniston over Walna Scar - what a blast downhill!!!
