A huge congrats to Ken for making it to 1000 points on Sunday while on Missinglink Mountain VE6/RA- 023. Four years, eleven months, 208 summits and many roadtrips to become Alberta Canada’s 3rd Goat, 5th in Canada.

Ken has the right attitude to Canadian activating. Here he is on in April, 2017 hiking Mount Minos on the eastern edge of Banff National Park.

It’s been a pleasure to do so many activations with you, Ken.
I look forward to many more.

Thanks very much for the kind comments and congratulations, and of course special thanks to my hiking partners and the many chasers who made it possible for me to reach Goatdom at last. I can’t believe it’s been 6 years since VE6IXD talked me into looking at amateur radio, and 5 years since I first had a try at SOTA activating; as they say, “time flies when you’re having fun!”
