When I lived in Australia (in Woy Woy) - the telephone exchange was literally at the end of the street ! There I had a 25Mb/s ADSL connection - at least to servers on Telstra’s network! Having 25Mb/s or even 200Mb/s doesn’t help if the server you are trying to get to is on a 2Mb/s link!!
Upgrading (??) To Telekom Hybrid LTE II / Naked ADSL her next month, all being well.
