Looks like the perfect activation - compact, lightweight and 2m FM. 
I’ve never seen the Lakes in the sunshine… ever. Four trips so far… perhaps my 5th will be the one?

I have always been lucky with the Lakes weather in November.
Saying that, we have just decided postpone tomorrow’s walk up Illgill Head until Wednesday. Tomorrows mountain forecast is Snow then rain.

A return trip to Spain is cheaper but I’m not allowed to play radio there.
My license conditions make no reference to sunbathing. I might take a risk and do that instead.
Hi Mark it was Great to talk you from Scafell Pike on Sunday. You had me checking spots, I thought had missed that you were on summit on Sunday 
Understand now, it was M0PVC on Scafell Pike on Monday. Easy mistake with one letter difference in our calls

Some countries will recognise your intermediate licence as a CEPT novice licence, but Spain is not one of them.

Thanks for the Link which I read with interest.
I can remember when I first got started in SOTA, soon after I got my foundation licence, 2016 seeing a post on here, by, I think a Foundation licence holder (certainly NOT a full licence holder) who posted about operating in Norway. He was asked how, he managed this legally if he didn’t hold a full licence.
His reply was something like, “I simply wrote to them and asked if I could operate in Norway”, and they told him he could.
Always worth a try.
