Today i and my family returned from the Lake Constance district. We stayed from Friday to Sunday at a very nice vacation farm below the DM/BW-854. After attending the SOTA dinner it briefly looked as if we should leave the vacation farm a little early… … we were there with car and tent on a pitch.
Fortunately, the weather was not as bad as predicted in our area. On Saturday we went to the fair and of course to the SOTA stand.
Many nice conversations here and there and of course to see many faces behind all the callsigns you usually hear throughout the year. I was particularly pleased about a short conversation with Herbert @OE9HRV. He was the activator of my first Chaser QSO when I knew nothing about SOTA.
Many thanks to the team of HB9SOTA, especially to Jean-Pierre @HB9HBV with Anita @HB9HBU as well as Jens @HB9EKO and all the others who helped to organize and plan this year’s SOTA booth in Friedrichshafen.
