Roman @DL3TU und Marcel @DM3FAM haben eine kleine Gruppe von SOTA-Interessierten aus dem „Ländle“ (= Baden-Württemberg) ins Leben gerufen. Unser Ziel ist die Vernetzung von SOTA-Aktvierern und -Chasern in der Region, die sich als Gemeinschaft gegenseitig unterstützen möchten. Wer wie sehr aktiv ist spielt dabei keine Rolle.
Der Dreh- und Angelpunkt unserer Gemeinschaft ist eine Threema und Signal Gruppe in welcher wir zu finden sind. Hier werden diverse Themen besprochen, Bilder und Informationen geteilt, Treffen vereinbart, Tips für den einen oder anderen Summit ausgetauscht und alles was sonst noch mit SOTA zu tun hat.
Es würde uns freuen, wenn weitere OM und YL ein Teil von SOTA-BW sein möchten. Selbstverständlich sind SOTA Freunde auch außerhalb des „Ländles“ gerne eingeladen mit dabei zu sein.
Wir haben eine kleine Webseite erstellt in der es ein paar Informationen über uns gibt.

On Saturday, 23.04.2022, about 20 members and friends of SOTA-BW met for the first meeting near Freudenstadt. The first anniversary of SOTA-BW was also celebrated here. The meeting place was the Globushütte near Frutenhof. There was a small hut, a barbecue area, wooden benches and tables and many possibilities to stretch antennas.
Before the meeting, some summits were activated on the way there. But also members who could not be there were active from one or the other summit.
Around noon the first arrived at the meeting point and there was a lot of exchange about SOTA. Also a lot of equipment was shown and examined. It was very exciting to see how different everyone is on the road.
For the physical well-being there were steaks, sausages, various salads, “Hopfentee” (Beer) and of course other drinks.
We met again on Saturday, September 27, 2025. Our second meeting after about two and a half years. This time we went to the Fohlenweidenhütte near Bräunlingen. Wolf @DF7TF had checked out a few places in advance and we decided on this one. It was a large space with a hut equipped with a stove, barbecue area, tables and benches, and even a toilet.
Before the actual meeting, we activated a few summits in the area. This also resulted in a few S2S contacts. Everything was very well organized in advance. We had wood for the fire, drinks, water for cleaning, lots of salads, much more and even cake @DC8TM & @DF3TS – thank you.
The weather was changeable. It was cool and there were occasional showers. Nevertheless, dry most of the time.
Many thanks to everyone who attended the meeting. Thank you for the salad donations and everything else. Thank you also for the many pleasant and interesting conversations. It was great to see you all again!
Hello Chris @DL1CR. Yes, it would have been nice to have you there too! Many would have come along, but the distance is quite a challenge. Maybe next time!

Die Gruppe “SOTA-BW Gemeinschaft in Deutsch / German” wurde am 1. Mai 2022 fälschlicherweise von DM3FAM statt deutsch in englisch weitergeführt.
seither kehrte die Gruppe nicht wieder zurück zum ursprünglichen Gedanken.
Könnt ihr bitte diese EINZIGE Gruppe, welche in deutsch gehalten werden soll, auch in DEUTSCH belassen?
