My first activation was my local summit Rombalds Moor G/NP-028 but I only got one QSO (same on my second summit of Scafell Pike G/LD-001). I first got points on Snowdon GW/NW-001.
As for MG, I’ll let you know in about 5 years’ time if this thread is still going.

My first SOTA activation was on a very local summit to me ‘Garreg Hir’ GW/MW-017. All being well, I plan to hit my MG status this Saturday on another local hill called ‘Y Golfa’ GW/NW-061. I will let you know if I qualify or not
