Morse code as plane art?

Bored on my 11 hr AA ride home to LAX yesterday , I became intrigued with the ceiling art of the 777 galley.

Very inspired by Morse code, flight attendants loved that observation so much so I was provided pen and paper to decode it….translates to noise but convincingly Morse, they even asked the pilots about it who presumably knew a lot about keeping a 777 aloft but were clueless to the galley art.

Reminded me of a hotel I stayed in where the curtains had binary code on them. I decoded it and it was some inspirational text like “Stay curious, welcome every new day” or similar idiocy. Any staff member I told about this in the reception desk were totally surprised by this.

At least they didn’t ask if you were going fishing.

Hah, I was asked this question once already while operating Brandon Mountain  They were not super creative with that joke but I laughed out loud because I was sitting on the edge of a cliff, the antenna did look very much like a fishing pole, and the weather was so utterly miserable that the tiniest trigger would have made me laugh.

Most of it looks rubbish - regardless of the way you read it.

Wow, the food looks great!

The screen shot from their website does seem to contain real Morse versus the AA galley art. I think the last line is “now passed along to you”

I/we can recommend the food and the location. It was fantastic.
