I loaded NR7Y beta5 as soon as it was released. I tested PTT as a straight key and the CEC paddle—both worked flawlessly and were a joy to use. Thanks, Brian, for this enhancement; it’s a job well done.

As @WU7H pointed out… V3 support is coming!
Once a 1.0 release is made, will follow to apply this mod onto the excellent work by F4HWN to provide updated support for the V3 hardware.

For those who discovered they bought a v3 UVK5 by accident and subsequently chucked it in a drawer, I encourage you find it and try the latest firmware. Not only is CW up and running, but you can feed a paddle into it simply by stripping apart a USB-C cable and attaching the wires to a TRS plug.
