So sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. Thank you for letting us know, @NR3E.

Looking back at my logs Bob KU4R has been my number one chaser. Could always pick his call out of a pileup – he was often the first caller.

Bob will definitely be missed in the SOTA community.

This is so sad. 25 QSOs here. Chasers become like friends.

Always heartbreaking to hear we’ve lost one of the herd. KU4R chased me many times, mostly in the last few weeks. Prayers and comfort to his friends and family. He will be missed.

Yep, he hunted me on two POTA activations back in 2021.

Sorry to hear. Bob is in my log over 50 times and as recently as a couple weeks ago.
Glad to have sent him a QSL card not to long ago.

I’m so sorry to see this. I can’t claim as many contacts from Bob as many others, but my last log entry was from Nov. 12 of 2023. His chasing achievements were impressive. I tend to think of my regular SOTA contacts as friends and it saddens me to know he won’t be showing up in my logs again.

Rest in peace Bob. I will always appreciate his chasing efforts. Here is wishing him fair winds and following seas, and that his memory will always be for a blessing. 73.
