Thanks for the information, Katsu.
I will try to be on a summit for the event.
Conditions have been better lately. Hopefully, the trend will continue
for the chosen weekend in March.

Antenna is ready. This time, 40-20-15-10m Band EFHW (L=19.7m) antenna. I will use FT891 operated at 20W to 50W unlike usual QRP operation. CU on the Air in QSOP

I am looking forward to the event. It will be pretty cold in VE6 land on that day but I will be prepared with warm enough clothing to meet the activating time target and a headlamp for the trip back down the mountain.

I’ll be on JA6/ON-048 on Sunday. I’ll bring my 40-12 Magloop and also the 40/20/17/15 ChairTenna VGP, and will compare the two on as many QSOs as possible QRP and CW only, as usual. See you there. Steve JS6TMW

Just got home from this event…

WOW…the most JA s2s contacts I have ever made on one day…over a dozen I think…also ZL.

Will summarize it up better tomorrow!

Thanks to everyone!

Yes, the JA SOTA event was exceptional! The propagation helped. I operated 10m only and had a lot (maybe 18+) JA qsos. Certainly SOTA fun. Thanks JA’s for the great turnout!

I agree. That was a blast!
I managed a QSO with almost everyone I could hear.
Looks like 11 S2S with Japan, 12 if JS6TMW was already /JA6, all but one on 10 meters.
Nice to hear 4E1AGW chasing from the Philippines.
I heard KC1MXB, JB, work a JA summit from ME. That’s a long haul!
It would have been great to stay past 00Z. Other obligations, though.
Thank you, Activators and Chasers!
