Today Helen and I activated Pico Chao dos Terreiros (CT3/MI-008) a 4 point summit near the center of Madeira Island. The forcast was for sunshine during the morning with cloud build-up and rain in the afternoon on the high peaks.

This summit finally allows Helen to get the required 1000 points to claim Mountain Goat. When she logs the previous few summits of course.

And thank you for today’s S2S, Carolyn-I didn’t realise you were calling from Madeira, so that’s a bit of a tick for me. I think you gave me a 5 by 5 - not bad for about 2.5 watts output from my 818 into a linked dipole! I hope I work you on your next milestone activation!
