HAM RADIO 2022 at Friedrichshafen. June 24-26

It was a pleasure enjoying refreshments with Juerg HB9BIN and Victor GI4ONL at the Ham Radio, and meeting many EU SOTA friends at the mid-day meet up.

Did I read that correctly - Palm Radio is back in business and selling keys? A quick google search didn’t reveal any info/news ?? Nor a web site ??

Thanks.

Yes Todd, they were selling keys yesterday. I don’t why they aren’t visible online.

They were selling off old stock from what was left out of the last manufacturing runs. Like they were in 2019. Only Hannes DL9SCO is still with us.

A new FMF record for Lithium on a flight, 1x LiFePO, 9x 18650 LiIon

EDIT: Andy’s rule of flying “the number of batteries you get through security is inversely proportional to the delay on the flight arriving and leaving”. :frowning:

Still on the road from FN, but today we’re heading home via one last summit: LX/LX-005 … catch me while you can!
It was a great trip, just a bit too hot at times. Report will follow on my blog.

I would have loved to have been there too. I recognize some faces, but by no means all. Maybe someone would like to caption the photo with the call signs and names?

No its not me Chris. No. 29 is Pierre F5MOG who I met earlier in the day. Please edit! Thanks to you and Michael for providing identities of those on the platform.

Victor and I left the lecture room after Juerg’s (HB9BIN) lecture as we had two activations planned in the DL/AL region for late afternoon / early evening. Unfortunately we missed Ingo’s (DH5ST) lecture, but we prioritised the activations and getting to our hotel in that area.
