GW SOTA S2S Party, Hog Roast and get together - June 2025

🥁 ATTENTION - SAVE THE DATE 🥁

The 2025 GW SOTA S2S and Hog Roast date follows:

Saturday 14th June 2025

The same agenda will take place on this day as it did at last years event - we will aim to be out on the hills for 09:30 BST to start the S2S action between 10:00 BST and 13:00 BST.

We will then all head for a location in Mid-Wales, near Welshpool, I will put up nearer the time (same place as last year) for 15:00 BST for a get together and hog roast with pudding.

Please save this date in your diaries and hope for good weather 😀 I’m already looking forward to meeting everyone and hopefully some new faces at this event 👌 EVERYONE IS WELCOME!!

CAN EVERYONE WHO WILL BE ATTENDING, PLEASE PUT YOUR NAME AND CALL-SIGN IN THE COMMENTS BELOW (including your partner if they are coming) - thank you in advance 👍 I will be paying for the hog roast the end of April, so I will need all definites by then please. There will be a toilet on site!

Again, it will cost £10 a head, this will include your food on arrival, and we will hold a raffle at the event to raise money for the running costs of SOTA e.g. website servers etc etc.

It’s a cracking day out, with an opportunity for loads of S2S contacts.

Great to meet up with so many activators and chasers, plus their family members in some cases.

Ben does an amazing job organising this and to top it off… it raises a good chunk of cash to keep the SOTA systems running!

Hi Ben +1. - If I mange to persuade the XYL I’ll let you know and send another £10-00. I’ve altered for Foel Goch GW/NW-039. Woody and Jet would like to let Shadow G5OLD know that there were left overs in 2023 and judging from the speed that it was eaten at it was definitely better than the normal spaniel diet… 73. I enjoyed my surgery last year so much, that I decided to have my prostate removed this year :o) That all seemed to go well last week, so now looking forward to the hog roast :+1:
