Anyone aiming for the last top ten spot?

Hi Leandro,
Is there anywhere that one can see progress to this badge.
I think I have 4 continents (Australasia, North America, Europe & Asia) - I probably need to go on holiday to the Canary Islands to add Africa. If it’s 20 associations across the 5 continents, that is probably already covered.

Go and view your activator log and you will see buttons for “Show Awards” and “My Activated Regions”. You can use these to see where you are. You will have to do some manual thinking to figure out how far you are away from the next level as there is no “1 more continent and 3 regions needed” type of display.
I’d love to… I’ve got plenty of associations (34), but I’m stuck on 4 continents at the moment. A trip to North or South America needed. I have family in Argentina. I have talked about going there again.
Also Canada is on my list of places to visit.
Anyway, more importantly, congratulations on reaching this milestone… a lot of travel, negotiating airports with radio gear and reading a lot of rules a regs for radio in overseas locations!
Yes, it’s 20 associations across 5 continents (even though the website sometimes states 5 associations). I had completed the continents before I had the associations, so I can be sure of that ![]()
Cheers! Canada should be straightforward with CEPT. A guest license for Argentina could be more complicated, but I haven’t tried that yet so can’t tell for sure. I did try to get a guest license for Uruguay, and gave up after many attempts to get through the government’s online systems, but then got a lot of support from the country’s national radio club and finally got it issued. So my advice is to avoid overestimating one’s capabilities and to rely on local know-how as early as possible!
Thanks… good advice. Which I’ve kind of already followed! I have made contact with a local activator in Argentina who has offered to help if or when I firm up plans to visit.
22 associations and 4 continents - so still one continent to go …
