Last Saturday was a special day: I achieved my first GOAT in SOTA. It has been many activations, kilometers, early starts, and unforgettable moments in the mountains.
Thanks to all the chasers for the constant support and for making every activation worthwhile.

Congratulations Manu, great achievement and yes lots of km to drive and hike to make Mountain Goat. When I started SOTA 13 years ago It only took a couple visits to some low score summits to realise this is not going to be easy. Its a good grounding in navigation, exercise and public relations to get access to some summits, the radio bit is the easy part. I hope you enjoy working towards MGx2 into your future.
