Data base log problem

Not sure if it’s me or not? but I have been having trouble at times inputting my Log from Sotawatch 3 over the last few days. Freezing up and then putting more than one entry with extra points, The last one tonight took me 40 mins to delete the dupes. See below. I also tried entering manually and it did the same. Not a PC guy so don’t baffle me with tech talk please Hi!!

It’s not just you. The DB is having some issues. We are working on it. Thanks for your patience.

Just looked at my Log and they have re appered again?? HELP!!

You click the button and nothing seems to happen, so you click it again. The DB is busy and your request went into a queue. Once the DB wasn’t busy, it processed your request(s) (all of them). Now you have a bunch of duplicates.

Until we get it sorted, I suggest using @ON6ZQ’s really awesome SOTAwatch Filter to log. That is what I’m doing to log my chases until we get things sorted.

I also can’t upload my logs from today’s activations, Seems to be an issue with the database ?

Yes, the DB is very busy right now. We are investigating. Just give it a day or two before you upload your logs.

I deleted the dupes OK this morning when it was not so busy. I would just like to add that you guys do a fantastic job and this site is great.

Could we expect that after these one or two days all DB entries will be recovered?

Yesterday I entered the QSOs for my activation of CT/MI-004 and - after a short glitch and error message after the verification - was even honored with a new badge (“golden something”) but since then I have not yet seen this activation in the DB.
I hope that I do not have to re-enter all QSOs again.

Hi all,
I think as the chaser I’ve to go to paper log, since yesterday lost 4 or 5 QSO logged in, but we know we had a problem and they working hard to find it.

Based on the workload overnight it appears to be fixed. You can enter logs and if you have any issues let me know.

If I see nothing by tonight or tomorrow I will write up what I fixed and my supposition about why it was causing issues.

I am trying to upload right now and it is not working :frowning_face:

It did actually upload, but the “problem” (if I can call it that) is that you have a massive activation with a bunch of S2S, which takes a while to upload. The browser gets impatient and displays that instead of waiting for the upload to finish - but it does finish, as I can see it on your log now.
