Ben GW4BML is 🐐 x 3

Well done Ben @GW4BML for achieving Mountain Goat #3 on Mynydd y Grug GW/SW-042 on Friday night, using 2m FM and 160m CW/SSB.

Full story HERE..

Not a bad effort for a working man with two young kids, who also manages to find time to volunteer as a RSGB director!

Congratulations Ben. I know the commitment that you have needed to achieve this. A great effort and some careful arithmetic getting 2,999 points in time for Mynydd y Grug. Thank you for inviting me along.

Not forgetting the GW Hog Roast event! And the Upper Park joint activations along the way.

Thank you very much for the kind words @MM0EFI Fraser - it’s been a long journey for MGx3, but we got there in the end  with a great deal of support from my family and the SOTA community.

Looking forward to catching up at the NP event this year, all being well! And maybe we could organise a day in GM before the year is out :winking_face_with_tongue:

Remember Ben, Goats have 4 legs, so get Sotering. Me, I’m stopping at 2 legs and a 1000point CW.

Might do a few this summer when my circulation is better using SK.

Good luck with the RSGB, I see you need our support.
