As I look back over the past three years, I want to express my sincere thanks for the incredible support you’ve given me. It’s been a privilege to serve on the RSGB Board, and your encouragement has meant a great deal.
This year, I am standing once again for one of the Elected RSGB Board Director positions. I’m keen to continue the work I’ve started, championing and supporting our amateur radio community, before my current term on the RSGB Board comes to an end. With that in mind, I’d be truly grateful for your support and your vote. You can cast your vote using the link below:
I remain committed to promoting the SOTA scheme, which I believe brings a fantastic mix of people into our hobby and showcases just how diverse and exciting amateur radio can be.
To vote, you’ll need to be an RSGB member and have your membership number ready, along with the first four characters of your call sign. Just follow the instructions on the voting page.
If you choose to vote (for me ) thank you very much in advance!
Thank you very much to everyone who has already voted. I believe you have two votes, so I’d like to also suggest John Moss who is another candidate for the board this year to be a very good candidate. The board are looking for two elected director’s.
Thanks again, and you still have 3 weeks to vote please do so, because the future of amateur radio is key.
The SOTA community are certainly busy activating and chasing summits from all over the world - it’s great fun!
Yes, let’s hope you get the opportunity to support the RSGB going forward, there is plenty of work needed, and it’s heading in the right direction.
One last post on this thread from me - there is only 2 days of voting left, so if you haven’t yet voted, it is very important to do so. Let’s keep the amateur radio hobby alive and on air for everyone who has voted (and especially for me), thank you very much!
I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported me in this year’s RSGB Elected Director vote. I’m delighted to share that I have been elected for another three‑year term. It’s a real privilege, and I’m genuinely grateful for the trust you’ve placed in me.
Over the coming term, I’ll continue working hard to promote and grow our wonderful amateur radio hobby across the UK and internationally, including championing the SOTA programme and other initiatives that bring our community together.
If you have experience in outreach - or simply enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved, and would like to support any of our teams, please feel free to get in touch. Your skills and passion could make a real difference.
Thank you all once again for your encouragement and confidence. It means a great deal.
