I plan to activate a few mountains around Gaggenau/Baden-Baden on Thursday 16.07.20 The mountain DM/BW-859 Battert is a part of it. I will start early in the morning. I would be very happy about a QSO.

I will set out for a small SOTA expedition tomorrow, covering 10…12 summits in the border area DM/BM…OK, see here:

Planned several times, prevented several times (a heavy flu, a very bad weather forecast, a crisis in the office and lastly Corona…), but not forgotten: I will set up for 3 days of SOTA activations in the border area between SE Germany and the Czech Republic, about one hour driving from home. The hotel is booked, the weather looks not that bad, the equipment is ready - and the summits are planned. Thanks Marcel for super effort on the rarer BW summits today. Getting up 20 mins earlier than usual and you gave me Battert BW-859. Only BW-860 needed now for the full set! This is getting like my childhood pursuit of Train Spotting hihi

Unfortunately I had to stop during the third activation today. The weather became too strong.

Yes Paul, I just awoke when I saw your message and checked. You did activate BW-860 on 18/11/2020 and I forgot to check. This was the last of the DM/BW region that I needed to chase all 93 summits currently listed and we had a QSO at 0938z. I only wish I could get back there and activate a few more of the BW region myself. No holiday tour planned yet due to the Pandemic.
