Today’s activation was my first winter activation. I was curious about this and the problems I would face. But there weren’t any: the batteries kept their charge and the operator his fingers warm.
Bürgenstock above Lake of Lucerne in Central Switzerland is not only a good choice in the summer period, but also in winter. Additionally we had an excellent sunset and afterglow after the activation!
So this is another one to enjoy in case you’re in our region and have some spare time.
