French 7MHz

#1

June 30th 2010

Today, the official French newspaper publishes the new band plan.
French hams can use the 7.000 / 7.200 segment.

My microphone is in my rucksac…

Good news, Alain, but please don’t substitute with it and leave your keyer at home!

Hi Joska,

Good news, Alain, but please don’t substitute with it and leave your
keyer at home!

Don’t worry, it will never happen…

But the joke continue… they published “Power max =120W” so they have to rewrite (and publish again) the text…
As I said earlier… please don’t laugh !!!

Dear Alain!

I don’t think that French SOTA activators would mind about this fault as most of them use less than 1/10 of the specified power limit. (The lowest power F activator I worked had merely 200 mW into a MP1 type toothpick!) On the other hand the lower the limit is, the less QRM they are exposed to! Isn’t it?
