We walked a few miles too as we started from near Longtown (Llanveynoe). I think it was nearer 6km apart if we were both where we claim to have been. There is the Chwarel ridge in between your ridge and mine (and the tail of the Twmpa).

Too bad about the car, but it was a bit cool going home. Hoping for some new glass on Thursday. I try to put things in perspective; two people were flattened (and killed) by timber falling off a lorry on our route to the hills. Could easily have been us.

Indeed Rod, I suppose that does put it into perspective. However it is still not very nice! At least the time on the hill and the walk in was a good one!!

I thought that you would have parked underneath Hay Bluff! We parked at the start of the Gospel Pass!
