What time will people be gathering at the campsite.
Due to commitments at home I can’t stay overnight, but would like to pop in for a meet and greet, but don’t want to turn up early when theres still some electrons to be used up in the battery

I would like to activate an NP summit on the Saturday but I don’t want to step on anyone’s toes. Is SOTA Watch the correct place to check for activation alerts, or is there a more definitive list?

I’ll be there from Thursday evening. Hoping to work a club station from Penyghent on the Friday and Whernside on the Saturday.
I’m planning to activate The Calf and Yarlside on the Saturday. Looking forward to chatting to you all.
I can see you’ve picked your summit, but it certainly wouldnt have been a problem if you had picked the same summit as myself. I think most other activators would have the same opinion too.
Apart from the odd one or two summits where having multiple stations is impractical, theres usually lots of physical space and bandspace to go around.
So if anyone does want the easy choice of Sharp Haw, then feel free to join me especially as I will be taking no HF gear with me.

That didn’t come across very well. I was simply trying to be considerate of others’ plans and give them the space first. However, I would be happy for others to activate the same summits as me too.

It seems I’m just arriving back from Austria on the 25th so if I’m not too tired I’ll take a ride over. So this will be a spur of the moment thing.
