Looks like Yaesu (the Japanese .com domain at least) has become victim to a ransomware attack.
Looks like the group that claimed responsibility for it is proposing to release some sensitive data if the ransom is not paid.

These terrible people are going to publicly reveal all your amateur radio communications, and even more dangerous, they are going to tell complete strangers about what expensive radio gear you have.

I’ve seen a recent thread of someone looking for Yaesu parts in the USA and being told that the database has been corrupted and that they can’t currently supply parts.
Initial murmurs seem to point to some pretty important data being taken. Mostly around manufacturing and related OT, schematics, IP etc.
Someone really wants to make that FT818 clone.
