WSPR Receiving station

I am based in Calgary, Alberta, and I have been using WSPR to compare antennas. It has been very useful to me in deciding between different systems that I wanted to use.
One observation was that there were not many receiving stations in Canada and it might be helpful to other WSPR users to have reports from Calgary.
After a few false starts I got my WSPR receive station on the air, and this morning ticked the box to upload the spots.
Imagine my surprise when I noticed that one of the first station uploaded was W6PNG, Paul, who is the California Area manager.

Nice to hear from you, Paul!

Iā€™m using the SOTA Beams DXPlorer to generate my WSPR messages.

Its fascinating to see where my seemingly insignificant 200mW is reaching using a vertical antenna in my back yard.
