Dear Manuel,
I know that this is an older thread and that I congratulated you already to your achievement. Looking around in the net I recently stumbled over a video taken by David, DL1DN. He also worked with an Aluminium foil antenna. Of course, under much less harsh environmental conditions and by taking advantage of a loading coil. Anyhow, I thought it was interesting enough for sharing, particularly his tuning procedure.
