Not a goat yet LOL, but after 5+ years and over 200 activations wanted to share thoughts about why I love SOTA while on the way to Park Butte W7W/WH-162. This is a stunning hike, and one of my favorites! It was the perfect hike to share reasons why I love SOTA, with a goal of inspiring others to start. I know Todd W7TAO (local Washington State activator) created videos that inspired me, and grateful for both he and others who inspired me to finally activate a first summit! We’ve had quite a few new activators in the Pacific NW this summer, and excited for all others who may join our hiking to summits and playing radio hobby! 73, James WA7JNJ
