Wales summits recommendation

Hi,

I am planning to do some hiking in Wales tomorrow. Wx looks ok-ish. I will travel on the day from B’ham. Any summits recommended in MW or SW?

Hi Angel,

You could always try Plynlimon GW/MW-001,follow the A44 West and park at Eisteddfa Gurig, £5 all day parking. Nice day great views.

Thanks Steve.
We made it to GW/MW-002 Great Rhos eventually. Less of a drive. We saved Plynlimon for a better wx day.
We had a little bit of rain, but managed to stay dry. I have a new 2-person bothy bag with us but was not needed in the end.
We did not see a single soul around.

On the return we looped back by the west side to make the walk a little bit longer following advise by the people in the Mill woodcraft… As a result we ended in a field with cows and some young territorial bulls…!!!

23 QSOs in 40-30-20m. Thanks to all the chasers.
