The RSGB are looking for operators to put Commonwealth Games station GB22GW on the air now. You must be an RSGB member and join the RSGB Contest Club (No charges). You may use the callsign from your home station or portable (for example SOTA in Wales) if the location is registered in advance. Details here:

On Sunday I will be activating a GW/NW summit (or summits…?) using the special event callsign GB22GW.

I will be on SSB on as many bands as I can find antennas for, from 60m to 70cm, and for however long my batteries last or the weather holds out.

Time is likely to be between 1000 and 1400 UTC. I will spot the summit/band on Sotawatch.

Hope to get some of you in the log.
