WA2USA is Now a 5X Mountain Goat!

Dennis WA2USA just reached his 5X Mountain Goat while activiating in Colorado this summer. Many of you have worked Dennis as he’s been activating SOTA peaks since 2011 (14 years). In fact, he has made over 22,000 contacts now! He’s among the early SOTA adopters here in the US – in the league with W1DMH, WG0AT, N7UN, KT5X, KE5AKL, KD5KC and K0MOS to name a few. He shows no signs of slowing down and I know he’ll be climbing mountains for along time to come.

Congrats OM and keep up the great work my friend!

Outstanding achievement Dennis! I’ve enjoyed our many contacts over the years, going back to our first one on June, 2011, when you were on W2/GA-467 with N4EX! Thanks for all the points!

Yes, a big congrats Dennis, Always enjoyable to make a qso with you!

My 1st chase by you was 19 July 2011 and my 1st chase qso of your 1st activation was 28 Oct 2011. You bit hard on the SOTA hook with 11 more activations in 2011!

It’s been a lot of fun working you over the years. And many more to come, I’m sure!

Dennis,]

Thanks especially for our many S2S contacts over several years. You always make the contact, even if our signals are in the noise!

Working other activators in Colorado has been an amazing series of lessons about how there is often a useful signal path, even if the topography suggests otherwise.

Your in so many of my logs!

Thank you!
