I am excited to say the W4T campout is coming up soon, around the weekend of July 20 and 21 at Roan Mountain State Park in Roan Mountain, Tennessee. We have a good number of sign-ups and I copied the latest list below. I apologize if the formatting isn’t great, but tabs don’t seem to work in my email program. If you are not aware, you will be camping in SOTA heaven with more ten pointers than you will see anywhere. Hopefully the weather will be favorable but if it is not we will still have a good time.
On Saturday night instead of a big extravagant pitch-in meal, we will be having a hot dog cookout over the campfire. I will be providing the hot dogs, buns, ketchup, and mustard. If you want to bring some chips or snacks, or anything that will go well with hot dogs, you are welcome to do so. You will also need to bring a drink. If you have a hot dog skewer stick, bring it along too.
One thing I do not have is firewood. If anyone in the group has some extra, please let me know. If we end up with none, I can get some charcoal and we can make a fire of sorts with it.
I will see everyone in a little over three weeks, in the meantime if you have any questions, comments, changes, or concerns, please let me know.
