Visiting the Dolomites with my (X)YL with some activations in mind

From July 3 till July 11 my (X)YL and I will spend some time in the Dolomites: starting with 2 days in Bolzano and the the rest of the time in Wolkenstein in Gröden aka Selva di Val Gardena. My plan is to activate one or the other summit in the surrounding areas. Which summits it will be and when is still open and of course depending on the weather. As usual I will set my alerts and spots on sotawatch as soon as I have a definite plan. I will be qrv on the obvious HF bands in SSB and on 2m in FM. I look forward to many QSOs.

Same here, also in the area around first week of August, planning to do HF only. Would be great to get some tips so I can do some pre-planning as opposed to my usual on-the-spot planning hi.

I am in the dolomites this weekend, staying near Monte Civetta.

I have alerted for San Sebastiano – Cima Nord I/VE-071 on Saturday. Something will be done on Sunday depending on weather !

Yes, he had to take a few long weeks off the mountains, but back to his normal self again !

Currently camped at the front door expecting some SOTA action with the bags being packed. He won’t be happy when he gets delivered to his holiday home for the next week !
