Hello everyone,
My new video we will take you along on the rarely activated summits OE/ST-592 and OE/ST-034 mid August on a perfect summer day. Just like last year the OE5 SOTA Crew went to the mountain area Triebental in norther OE/ST and spread out to activate multiple summits.
I teamed up with Heinz @OE5EEP and coincidental Ulrich @OE3UEA had activated OE/ST-034 the day before and then got motivated to do OE/ST-592 the same day like us. So we met him and his XYL on the way up and had a S2S with him later on.
The hike to the OE/ST-592 was not well mapped but we found a good route up. Of course on sotamaps/sotl.as And then over to the second summit. A long day with about 16 km and 1300 m vertical up and down. I needed 2,5 liters of water.
