I’ve just put together a video of my foreign SOTA activations in Switzerland over two days last summer. Some of you may find it interesting to watch, it features several well known SOTA chasers.
You would never think these were filmed in summer, weather was terrible during the ascent, we had to take shelter for 20 minutes from the storm, but luckily we had glorious sunshine while we were at the summits of both mountains.
My daughter lives in Switzerland so I will be doing regular activations there while visiting.
Hi Mark. Fantastic video! It really gave me a good view of what it’s like to climb those peaks. The mountains there are spectacular. Also, it looks like your first peak had some pretty difficult climbing on it. I’d love to get there sometime to do some peaks. Also, the video and photo quality were excellent. Thanks for sharing.
