VIDEO: OE5JFE on Stein am Mandl, OE/ST-105

Hello everyone,

This time I am taking you to the frozen lakes near the summit of Stein am Mandl OE/ST-105 on a cold, windy but perfectly sunny November day.
On the request of my Youtube subscribers Harald @OE6GC I have this time taken a bit more time to show what I use for activating. Nothing out of the ordinary but hopefully of interest.

Video:

And some impressions:

Road to upper parking was closed. So some extra ascent needed…

Summit reached:

Hi!
Joe, thanks for the interesting report. It seems to me that the metal structure at the summit used to be the mast of the Yagi ham radio antenna. :grinning:

Thanks for your excellent report, Joe!
ST-105 is now on my to-do list for 2022.

Thanks Paul. I guess that was related to the no driving sign :+1:

Indeed one of the robust and lightweight version of a summit cross. I guess it could tune on 6 m

Thanks Heinz for our QSO. I will monitor your alerts for a potential SOTA complete.
I was actually wondering why this summit was only activated 3 times before me. It is so nice with the views, hut and the lakes. Big recommendation.
