Thankyou to all who worked me on VE2/ES-009 on October 7th. I had to go off the air for a short period when the snow/hail got intense (I’m still very protective of my KX3) so I missed out on a few CW QSOs but I did get back on the air on SSB and I was able to offer VE2/ES-009 to a few more that way.

The day started out with some snow and hail and a hike in the clouds. Later when the cloud base cleared the summit, we were treated to some spectacular views of the fall colors.
It’s a ski mountain and the township was running a ‘fall colors’ festival so the tiny cleared are which is the summit got rather busy so we didn’t stay too long.
