There will be a few Alberta (VE6 / VA6) activators will hitting the trails on Saturday to celebrate the Association’s 10th Anniversay. Followed by a BBQ at a nearby day use park.
I will be using a special event callsign for the day, VC6SOTA.

Good warning from EL. Guess I’ll have to be ready to use my dreadful newbie slow-code CW for the S2S bit, as the voice frequencies will no doubt be chock-a-block from the CA QSO party. Maybe the 40m band to hit the W7A 10-point Madness crew. Good challenge to work through the traffic; I sure hope propagation is OK as I’ll be QRP in a forest of QRO …
