VE2/ES-017 Mount Pinacle was recently reinstated into the VE2/ES region Sota list.

Again 20 seemed very calm at first glance but i did manage to work 4 European chasers and a few from good old USA !

Many thanks for the excellent report and photos Eric. It is interesting to see something rather different to what we are used to over here in the UK. Well done on the EU contacts, indeed the one with Luc ON7DQ in EA8 is Africa.

Hello Gerald, indeed the scenery is much different between UK and Quebec.
About Luc ON7DQ in EA8 i recognized the callsign and barely heard the signal report then i lost him. I thought he could be on a summit ? but could not do more. Band conditions are indeed very surprising with Europe !

Eric, Thanks for the contact. Luc - ON7DQ is a friend of mine and also has a USA call sign of KF0CR. Great operator and fun guy. He has activated in the Missouri area on a number of summits.
