SOTACAT V260420 adds: (KC6X)
- ** Chase: Scan mode ** - a “Scan” button on the Chase page cycles through the currently visible spots, tuning the radio to each one in turn and scrolling it into view.
- Spacebar toggles scan; j / k step through spots manually
- Dwell time per spot is configurable in Settings (default 7s)
- Any UI interaction that would invalidate the current cursor (refresh, changing filters, re-sorting, clicking a row, MyCall, PoLo) automatically stops the scan
- Scroll-into-view now honors the sticky header and centers the active row for better visibility
- Chase: better defaults and auto-refresh discoverability
- Mode filter now defaults to SSB+CW (was “All”)
- Compact mode and radio-band filtering are on by default
- Saved user preferences always win over defaults (a previously-enabled setting no longer silently flips back on fresh load)
- Auto-refresh is finally discoverable (#89): a 3-second “Auto-refresh?” prompt appears after each manual refresh, thanks to a suggestion from Brian
- Age-colored UTC cell: fresh spots (< 5 min) are uncolored; older spots progressively tint warm red, capped at 60 min. Only the UTC cell is tinted, so existing row styling is preserved.
- Improved FT8 reliability
