Update of Mircules HAM QuickLog now with SOTA functionality

An update to Mircules HAM QuickLog is out in the Apple app store.
Mircules HAM QuickLog is a logging app for the iPad.

In the new update, activation fields (SOTA and IOTA) are added on screen and in the import / export of logfiles. It concerns the fields IOTA, MY_IOTA, SOTA_REF and MY_SOTA_REF.

The data can be imported and exported as an ADIF or CSV file.

Hello Cees,

Thank you for posting about your logging app. I have downloaded it and will give it a test drive.

Thanks Pat! Let me know what you think, and if there are any useful SOTA additions I can make to the app.

It would have been nice if you had asked the people who run SOTA if it was OK to advertise your paid-for app on OUR site first before posting an advert. Perhaps you’ll be somewhat quicker in contacting the SOTA MT with a donation towards our costs for advertising your product than you were in getting your app advertised.

I thought the information would be useful to OM’s because the SOTA and IOTA fields were added in the last update, after people were asking for this.

I asked a few OM’s if it would be a problem to post it here and they said no.

I didn’t ask the people who run SOTA if it’s a problem and I should have done so, you’re right.

It’s ok if you remove my post. I just wanted to share the info out of enthousiasme of my software. Not to get free advertising.

It’s not a case of removing your post, that would be simple. You are at least $2.99 (minus Apple’s share) better off as a result of the free advertising. Where’s our percentage?

We don’t have a specific policy on adverts Cees but now we’re having to put one together so this situation doesn’t happen again.
