I went through the “wee gap” and had a look at the first slabs, then decided that you were probably a bit too far away to come and rescue me if I slipped off , so contented myself with that. It was bad enough going round the north end to set up out of the slight breeze that was felt on the rest of the tor. The sun and air temperature was causing some melt though, that dark “ghost shaped patch” in the middle of the picture, sloughed off just before I took it. The rock is pretty grippy and even in wet weather would be fine, it’ll be a lovely place for a “pad about” - summer boots and icey didn’t seem a good combination though!
