I sat out in the sunshine at lunchtime listening but sadly I could only hear Ken, GM0AXY chasing.
It looks like a fabulous day out was had by all.

Alan, that photo of Leabaidh an Daimh Bhuidhe (the summit tor of Ben Avon) is sublime. Did you climb it, or stay on the safe lower AZ slopes?
Thank you very much for two completes on rarely activated mountains. Two of my favourites. Glad you managed them quickly on 2m as well.

Hi Fraser,
I went through the âwee gapâ and had a look at the first slabs, then decided that you were probably a bit too far away to come and rescue me if I slipped off 
, so contented myself with that. It was bad enough going round the north end to set up out of the slight breeze that was felt on the rest of the tor. The sun and air temperature was causing some melt though, that dark âghost shaped patchâ in the middle of the picture, sloughed off just before I took it. The rock is pretty grippy and even in wet weather would be fine, itâll be a lovely place for a âpad aboutâ - summer boots and icey didnât seem a good combination though!
