TX Factor To Launch Soon!

TX Factor, the UK’s first TV show dedicated entirely to amateur radio launches on 21st February 2014.

Episode 1 features SOTA’s very own Tom Read M1EYP activating Stiperstones G/WB-003. Bob McCreadie G0FGX explores one of the most famous transmission sites in the world: The Marconi Centre, at Poldhu in Cornwall and Mike Marsh G1IAR keeps his feet firmly on the ground at the Norman Lockyer Observatory Radio Group in east Devon to find out what makes a 2 metre repeater tick.

The trailer is very promising Nick. Obviously, the quality is excellent via the player on the TX Factor website. I also found that watching on a large screen HD TV, using the Virgin Media Tivo box, YouTube Channel 198, was really good too.

Looking forward to the 21st and reliving a most enjoyable day out in the Shropshire hills!
