Dr SOTA Chasers
This past weekend, Bruno HB9CBR and myself HB9BIN participated in the Marconi 2m VHF contest in CW using the call HB9GF from Ahorn (a non-SOTA summit). The conditions and the weather were both very poor. When setting up our QTH did not yet have any snow, but when tearing down that was unfortunately no longer the case. Even so, we had lots of fun during the contest because among the stations we contacted we recognized many SOTA chasers, and we would like to thank them. Finally, we would also like to extend our thanks to Thomas HB9EKV whose mobile home and equipment (2 x 4 x 7 yagis plus 1 kW amp) we were fortunate to operate during the snowstorm.
