It may be advisable to avoid the Yorkshire Three Peaks this weekend.
That’s Whernside G/NP-004
Ingleborough G/NP-005
Pen-Y-Ghent G/NP-011

“Join Marie Curie Cancer Care for one of our most challenging walks - 26 miles across the three peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough on
Saturday July 3rd, 2010 and Sunday July 4, 2010.”

There will loads of walkers, RAYNET (on each summit and access points) and parking will be limited.
But you might be able to chase G6DDQ/P stationed on Whernside :slight_smile:

Will most probably monitor on a contunuous basis (until the batteries die) 1297.5 M/cs and 70.45 M/cs. Note that will be using the most ridiculous amount of high power (1 watt). If there is room in the sac will also take AM.
