I’d hardly call Meall nan Tarmachan “remote” when it has a good take off to Edinburgh and Glasgow 
But it is nice when you can use simple gear and get a decent number of chasers.

It felt remote when approaching from the A9/Tummel Bridge.
That was the highlight! (Apart from Mo making it to the top after having had surgery earlier in the year.)

I forget you have to come the wrong way. Did you pop down the road from Calvine to Trinafour? Or the teeny tiny road? The much more minor road has a bit as you get close to Trinafour when you come round a sharp bend and suddenly see the Errochty dam for the 1st time. It’s one of those “Wow!!!” moments.

Yes, the Old Military Road. It’s a great wee road.There’s a picture of us parked up on that road in the original post. 
I’ve been across the top of the Errochty dam in the co-drivers seat of my sons rally car.
